“Has a good ceiling in his development to play the game at a high level.
At 5 foot 9 and 182 pounds Moran had a day as he showed out not only with his swing but also with some great plays as a catcher. Moran had great mechanics at the plate with a quality approach working the count with good discipline, along smooth compact barrel path with nice extension with his hands with a max EV of 96.
During one of his at bats Moran stayed cool with a 2K approach and lined an RBI single to LCF, got his hands through an inside fastball to make the play. He also showed out as a catcher, throughout the game Moran developed a pattern of getting the ball back to the pitcher with urgency to keep his pitcher's rhythm while also setting up a back pick to 1st base with 2 men on to find an out in a tough outing.
Moran looked comfortable in the infield and exhibited good mechanics and tools while also being a true gamer with the small details of his play.

About Andrew
A catcher sees the whole field. That perspective shapes how I approach everything — from calling pitches to building an organization from the ground up.
I'm a Class of 2027 student at The Mount Vernon School in Atlanta and a travel catcher with 6-4-3 DP, competing in Perfect Game nationally ranked tournaments. Off the field, I founded Gear for Good, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tackling equipment inequity in youth sports — we've donated 100+ bats, 75+ gloves, 75+ cleats, and 100+ coats since 2025.
I carry a 4.4 weighted GPA and plan to study Business, Finance, or Entrepreneurship in college while continuing to compete behind the plate. Beyond baseball, I serve as Philanthropy & Communications Chair for Young Men's Service League and was Top Georgia Student Fundraiser and Featured Speaker for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (2025).
